Olive & Ember RiNo
The original hearth, in a 1920s brick warehouse with a 14-foot wood grill and the Cellar Room downstairs.
About this kitchen
We opened on Larimer Street in 2016 inside a brick warehouse that once stored machine parts for the rail yards. The building still has its timber trusses and freight doors, and the 14-foot hearth sits exactly where the loading dock used to be.
RiNo is our busiest room and the only location with the Cellar Room, a private dining space for up to 24 guests that shares a wall with the wood oven. On summer evenings the freight doors roll open onto Larimer and the whole block smells of oak smoke.

Guests say
“The lamb shoulder for two is the best thing I have eaten in Denver this year. Smoky, tender, and the herb salad cut right through it.”
“Solo dinner at the hearth counter. Watching the cooks work the coals is better than any TV, and the branzino was perfect.”
